It is with great sadness that I inform you of the passing of Mr. Joel Cauley, Ideal Roofing’s Field Sales Manager for New England on December 25th, 2011.

Joel Cauley started his career at Ideal Roofing in May 1985 as our sales representative for Eastern New York, Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. With hard work and determination, he established a strong network of dealers in his territory. He was honored as sales person of the year in 1993, 1996, 2001 and 2008. In 2007, Joel was promoted to Field Sales Manager for New England to further develop New York and the New England States.

With over 26 years of service at Ideal Roofing, Joel was well liked by his colleagues who looked up to him for his success and experience and who enjoyed his company and his sense of humor. He was also respected and trusted by his many clients for his integrity and knowledge of the industry.

On a personal note, I have known Joel for more than 26 years and I will miss the camaraderie of travelling with him, the long conversations over a good meal accompanied with good wine, about politics, current events, the military, sports, travel, etc.  I will also miss Joel’s good natured bragging after he holed a 20 foot golf putt or when he collected a $20.00 wager when his New England Patriots won the Super Bowl.

Joel Cauley, is survived by his special friend and partner Marge Vincent; lifetime friends Ron and Fran Panunto of Langhorne, Pennsylvania; special friend and colleague Patric St-Denis; his golfing buddy Tom Sawyer and by many other friends and co-workers and business associates.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
